Preparatory Entry
Applications can be submitted from birth for enrolment in your child's Prep Year. (Students enrolling in Preparatory must have turned five by 30 June in the year of commencement at Assisi Catholic College).
Interviews will take place in February of the year prior to entry. Offers for successful interviews will be made in April of the year prior to entry.
Year 7 Entry
Parents can submit applications for Year 7 up to five years before their child starts secondary school. To ensure a smooth process, we recommend submitting your child's application by the beginning of Year 4.
Enrolment interviews for Year 7 take place at the beginning of Term 2, three years before your child's expected start date in secondary school.
Entry To All Other Year Levels
Applications can be submitted five years in advance and an interview will be arranged when a place becomes available.
Sibling Enrolments
It is the parents' responsibility that for each new potential student (sibling), they must submit a separate online Application for Enrolment. This is the first step in the enrolment process and families are cautioned that whilst siblings are given priority enrolment consideration (as per Criterion 1 and 4 of the Enrolment's Policy) they are not guaranteed a place within the College. Please note that waiting lists are being experienced across many year levels and early submission of Applications is encouraged for consideration in future years.
When an offer of enrolment is confirmed and accepted, we require the Confirmation of Enrolment paperwork returned to the College with a non-refundable fee; $300 for the first child in the family, $100 for every subsequent child.
An application to re-enrol a student who has previously left the College will be treated as a 'new' enrolment and will incur the Application for Enrolment and Confirmation of Enrolment fees accordingly.
Orientation for Preparatory and Year Seven is held in the November prior to the start of school in January. Information about all the practical aspects of the College is covered during this time.
