Student Life & Wellbeing
Living the Assisi Way
At Assisi, the Franciscan values of care and compassion are central to student life. We respect the dignity of each person and are committed to nurturing the whole child academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually so every student feels known, supported and valued.
A strong sense of belonging underpins all that we do. When students feel safe, connected and cared for, they are empowered to grow with confidence, resilience and purpose.
A Family Environment
Our Franciscan spirituality places family and relationships at the heart of the College. We foster a culture of care, connection and inclusion that defines the Assisi Way.
From Prep to Year 12, students belong to Family Teams that promote unity, responsibility and mutual support. These relationships create a joyful and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to flourish and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Pastoral Care & Student Support
Pastoral Care at Assisi Catholic College is embedded in everyday student life. Through our Family Teams and dedicated pastoral structures, students are guided to grow with resilience, respect and responsibility.
Specialist staff work collaboratively with teachers, students and families to support the diverse needs of our learners. Together, we ensure every student is cared for, understood and supported within a nurturing community.
Faith and Formation
Inspired by the teachings of Christ and the example of St Francis and St Clare, students are encouraged to live with compassion and to be active examples of peace and justice in their daily lives.
Prayer of St Francis (Prayer for Peace)
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
