Religious Education

At Assisi Catholic College, Religious Education is more than a subject—it’s a lived experience. Our approach integrates classroom learning with the rich spiritual life of the College community.

Following the Brisbane Archdiocesan guidelines, our Religious Education curriculum is shaped by the teachings of Jesus Christ and inspired by the lives of our patron saints, St Francis and St Clare of Assisi. As a Franciscan school, we foster values of love, peace, compassion and care for creation in all that we do.

We encourage reflection and prayer across all year levels, supported by retreats, spirituality days, and weekly student faith groups that offer engaging and meaningful opportunities for faith formation.

Justice is at the heart of who we are. Catholic Social Teachings are embedded across the curriculum, and our commitment to compassion and service is brought to life through initiatives such as the St Vincent’s Christmas Appeal, Project Compassion, and our Rosie's Van and Outreach Program.
