'Light for Learning'​ The Chiara iCentre is named in honour of St. Clare of Assisi. The word Chiara means 'light'.The Chiara iCentre supports the vision and mission of the College to Embrace, Embody and Empower.   To achieve this aim, we seek to provide an environment in which we:Foster co-operative partnerships with other members of the College CommunitySupport the implementation of the College curriculum through the provision of resources, programs and servicesSupport academic, spiritual, artistic and recreational needsImplement a program to develop, master and extend research and study skills and encourage competency in users of information so that they become independent life-long learnersStimulate a love of reading, learning and inquiryFoster discovery, innovation and scholarship​​​ Opening TimesMonday - Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm​​Our History The College library began its life in a room in the Administration Building when the College opened in 2005.  In 2008, on completion of a purpose-built centre, the library collection was re-located and the new building named Chiara.  Chiara means 'light' and is also another name for St Clare. Chiara was officially opened on 17 July 2009 by Senator Joe Ludwig, Senator for Queensland and Blessed by Most Rev John A. Bathersby DD, Archbishop of Brisbane.
