 Enrolments - The Process

  • Collect an Application Pack from our Main Reception or download from our website: www.assisi.qld.edu.au.

  • Return your application form with all the required documentation as soon as possible. Incomplete applications are not accepted.

  • A non-refundable Application Fee of $75 is required at this time to proceed with the enrolment process.

  • Preparatory interviews take place in March the year prior to enrolment.  Offers are mailed in May of the same year.

  • Year 7 interviews take place in Term 2, three years prior to your child's year of commencement. For instance, interviews for Year 7 in 2020 will be held in Term 2 with offers made by Term 3, 2017. Late offers will be made for when positions become available.

  • When an offer of enrolment is accepted, the paperwork is returned with the Confirmation of Enrolment Fee ($500 for the first child in the family, $100 for every subsequent child).  This is non-refundable.

  • You are now confirmed as part of the Assisi community. We encourage you to keep in touch with the College via the website, especially the newsletter.

  • Orientation is held in the November prior to the start of school in January. Information about all the practical aspects of the College are covered during this time.

  •  In summary - Ensure enrolment applications are lodged as soon as possible for Preparatory enrolments and when your child commences Year 4 for interviews to be held in Term 2 for Year 7 offers. Offers will be extended as soon as possible.

  • Offers and timelines for other year levels are dependent on availability.

Latest Information

  • Enrolment enquiries must be directed to the Principal’s Secretary, Mrs Rondah Lock. Only very limited places are available.

  • Applications for Preparatory in 2019 close on Friday 24 November 2017.

  • Applications for Year 7 in 2020 are now being accepted. Offers will be made during Term 3 in 2017.

  • Families of current students, who have younger children, are reminded to enrol early to avoid disappointment.

  • Any application to re-enrol a student who has previously left the College will be treated as a 'new' enrolment.  The same procedure and fees of Application ($75), Confirmation of Enrolment Fee ($500 for the first child, $100 for subsequent children) apply.

  • For details of enrolment for year levels other than Preparatory and Year 7, please phone the College and ask to speak to the Mrs Rondah Lock about current vacancies.

If you would like to visit our College, join us for the Prospective Parent Information Sessions from 8:15 – 10:15am on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 7 February 2017

  • Tuesday 2 May 2017

  • Tuesday 25 July 2017

  • Tuesday 17 October 2017

The session will be followed by a tour of the College.
